Submarine Systems Mechanical Engineer Intern

The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks a Mechanical Engineering intern to analyze submarine missile launcher and ship control systems. You will develop physics-based models and simulations, and apply them to trade studies, performance assessments, and conceptual designs. Ideal candidates are pursuing an ME or related field with MATLAB proficiency, a 3.0+ GPA, and an interest in applying dynamics, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics to challenging naval systems.
