Associate Clinical Supply Chain Director

Exelixis seeks an Associate Clinical Supply Chain Director to design and implement clinical supplies strategies for drug trials. This role oversees planning, forecasting, packaging, labeling, and distribution of clinical supplies across multiple programs while partnering with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage clinical forecast plans and budgets for drug products across multiple programs
• Oversee labeling, packaging, release, distribution and inventory management at external CMOs
• Develop global supply strategies and coordinate execution with Pharma Operations, Clinical, Regulatory, and Quality teams
• Lead IRT system development and User Acceptance Testing; represent Clinical Supplies at trial team meetings
• Coach team members and utilize project management software to manage multiple ongoing clinical supply activities

Requirements

• BS/BA in related discipline with 11+ years experience, or MS/MA with 9+ years experience
• Demonstrated leadership across Phase I, II, III clinical trials and investigator-sponsored trials
• Experience with Interactive Response Technology (IRT) systems for drug supply management
• Strong knowledge of clinical supply planning, labeling, packaging, and distribution
• Working knowledge of GMP, GCP, GLP, GDP regulations and clinical labeling requirements
• Excellent project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills
• Contract manufacturing company experience strongly preferred

Compensation: $161,000 - $228,000 base annually
