For positions that perform IT responsibilities, use E646, Systems Engr-IT. Primary responsibilities will be with the Air Mobility & Maritime Mission (AMMM) Airworthiness Team. Support business needs and enable innovation and increased efficiencies within the Engineering & Technology organization. Responsibilities Responsibilities can include management of Airworthiness artifacts and data requirements to support Airworthiness cycles, technical planning, and preparing the following data artifacts: Certification Basis Compliance Reports Configuration Verification Reports Certificate of Design Coordinate and lead internal and external customer discussions to achieve agreements on a project's certification approach. Host Certification Working Groups. Support Airworthiness Technical Interchange Meetings, Airworthiness Risk Review, and design and programmatic review events. Actively work with the AMMM Deputy Chief Engineer's, Chief Engineer, and Director of Engineering & Technology to manage the customer's airworthiness demands. Make recommendations to the AMMM Chief Engineer or Nation's Airworthiness Authority that an aircraft is ready to fly. Travel domestically and abroad for in person Airworthiness meetings with a Nation's Airworthiness Authority. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited program in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other Engineering discipline. One or more years of professional experience in Aero, Mechanical, Electrical, or related industry. Must be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Desired Skills Experience with MIL-HDBK-516. Experience with military or civil Airworthiness certification. Experience multi-tasking in a dynamic work environment. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Familiarity with System Safety Principles and Risk Assessment Process. Experience working with cross functional teams and frequent status reporting to leadership. Strong organization and coordination skills with high attention to detail.
