All GL’s rotate assignments throughout each workday. This is Kerry’s entry-level production job. Key responsibilities Essential Job Functions

• Palletize, shrink wrap, and record and certify quantities.
• Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping and sanitizing. Cleaning duties often require working at heights using a scissor-lift. During changeovers, GL’s may work entire shifts of cleaning duties.
• Perform varied line duties such as checking code dates, aligning bags on conveyors, refilling cardboard stock, moving product and materials with a pallet jack, filling and weighing bulk product containers, assembling boxes, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Basic Computer skills required. Prior SAP or inventory control experience is beneficial.Qualifications and skills

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to tolerate the above-listed physical and environmental demands of this position with or without accommodations.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in written form.
• Must have some work experience doing manual labor within the last 5 years.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Pallet loading responsibilities call for the ability to lift 50-pound boxes from mid-torso height to the floor at a frequency of 20-30 times per hour. Successful candidates for General Laborer must be able to tolerate all of these conditions and stand for up to 8 or more hours per shift. The pay rate for this position is $17.34 per hour.
