Pay scale: 72k
Summary:
This position is responsible for the clinical services and programming within at least one county that DAYMARK Recovery Services has a service location. This position reports directly to the Area Clinical Director. This position is responsible for all local clinical operations and compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, regulations and laws. Offers on-going mentoring, coaching and training to clinical staff. Assures adequate staffing at all times to meet service demand. Works closely with local Administrative Services Manager. This position is the community liaison between DAYMARK Recovery Services and the community at large and is often the spokesperson for DAYMARK Recovery Services to the community.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Ensures strict compliance with all professional standards, IPRS/NC State, federal Medicaid and Medicare regulations, agency policies and procedures. Maintains care and compliance with all rules for the facility.
- Monitors all expenses and ensures that expenditures are within proposed budget for the center. Assist with development of center budget. Provides clinicians with assistance on productivity standards, both monitoring and status to standards. Explores and develops new services and revenue streams.
- Provides or arranges for clinical direction or supervision to all members of the treatment teams. Provides or arranges for in-service training as appropriate, deliver clinical education programs, including best practices training to staff, also participates in agency-wide training programs/in-services.
- Assures all paperwork, billing tickets and documentation is completed in a timely manner according to established guidelines. Works with support supervisor and medical records to ensure that all regulatory standards are followed.
- Participates as a member of agency and community committees, councils and attends various meetings.
- Participates in the selection and hiring of therapists and other personnel actions as needed.
- Serve as the liaison between the Regional Operations Director and the local county service center.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor
Special attributes: Strong psychosocial, clinical assessment skills. Minimal supervision regarding use of time, able to prioritize work assignments. Must possess strong clinical skills, a vast knowledge base of mental health and substance abuse disorders and vigor to continue the learning process. Ability to communicate effectively with professionals and clients/families. Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations. If the Center Director does not have a clinical licensure, they must have a good understanding of the clinical processes and show competency that they know when to seek direction from the medical or clinical director when needed for clinical issues such as assessments, mental health or substance use emergency situations
Supervisory responsibilities: Provide on-site supervision to all Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services staff.
Education and/or experience: Minimum of a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or relative field, from an accredited college or university and professional licensure (full or associate level). Three to five years of clinical supervisor practice experience.
