Shipping/Receiving Coordinator

$18 per hour

Our client, a leading logistics and supply chain organization, is seeking a dedicated Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to join their team. As a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator, you will be part of the Shipping Department supporting the logistics and transportation team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Coordinator

Location: New Bern, NC

Pay Range: $18.00

Shift: 1st

What's the Job?

Coordinate the movement, control, and data accuracy of materials in the shipping area.
Work with customer service to coordinate the shipment of customer orders.
Collaborate with carriers to route outbound shipments efficiently.
Perform invoicing, Bills of Lading preparation, and order fulfillment tasks.
Assist in duties of the Shipping Team Leader during their absence.

What's Needed?

High school diploma or equivalency required.
Minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience.
Knowledge of Parcel, TMS systems, and export documentation .
Good communication skills and computer proficiency.
Forklift experience and ability to operate material handling devices.
