The Orchards at Douglas Cove is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Douglas, MI . As a valued member of our healthcare community, you will play a crucial role in helping our patients achieve their full potential.
Pay starts at $30.00 per hour and increases based on experience.
About the Role:
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care and education. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and assessments
Conducting therapy sessions, including exercise and stretching programs
Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Providing education and support to patients and their families
Maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
Responsibilities:
Physical Therapy Assistant : Assist physical therapists with patient care and treatment plans
Patient Communication : Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure understanding and compliance with treatment plans
Documentation : Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, as required
Team Collaboration : Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Safety and Infection Control : Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff, adhering to infection control protocols and guidelines
Professional Development : Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices
