Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.More about our teamThe surgical services department has 4 dedicated operating rooms and one specific operating room for cesarean sections where small town hospitality meets excellence in care.How you'll contributePerforms duties as assigned and requested.Completes focused patient assessments and reassessments based on patient's condition, procedures, medications, and treatments.Adequately assesses and reassesses pain; utilizes appropriate pain management techniques.Provides patient care and communicates effectively with patients of all ages and with specific needs.Demonstrates knowledge of medications and ensures correct administration following the six rights to minimize medication errors.Assists physicians with procedures and provides services requiring technical and manual skills.Performs treatments and delivers care within licensure scope.Ensures patient safety by performing all aspects of care in an environment that reduces the likelihood of errors.Operates and manages equipment safely and correctly.Educates patients and families on disease processes and recovery expectations.Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed.Maintains regular and reliable attendance.Performs other duties as assigned.Why join usWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.Additional requirements include:Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire,Education: Associate's degree required.
