Associate Provost of Mental Health and Wellbeing

Job Opportunity Lesley University is hiring a full‑time Associate Provost of Mental Health and Wellbeing. The role reports directly to the Vice Provost of Mental Health and Wellbeing and will help shape university policy and practice in this area. Responsibilities Plan, organize, and manage the administration of mental health and wellbeing programs. Provide leadership and guidance to faculty and staff to achieve university strategic goals. Collaborate with the Vice Provost and other administrators to promote and implement policies and procedures. Advocate for program interests and needs within the Vice Provost office. Ensure academic programs meet high quality standards, are marketable, and are financially sustainable. Contribute to Lesley University’s commitment to mental health and wellbeing by shaping and advancing key programs. Qualifications Ph.D. in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Expressive Therapies, or a related field. Professional licensure and clinical experience as a mental‑health counselor, psychologist or related licensed professional. Excellent leadership, management, and interpersonal skills. Experience in academic administration and a demonstrated ability to collaborate with faculty and administrative colleagues. Creativity in developing and supporting academic programs and understanding of the interplay between academic, institutional priorities, resources, and budget planning. Proficiency in using data and assessment evidence to inform planning, evaluation, and strategic decisions. Graduate teaching and advising experience. Experience with accreditation, clinical training oversight, and state/national licensure requirements for graduate mental‑health professions (preferred). Experience developing partnerships between academic institutions and external organizations (asset).
