Contractor Sought Life Couriers is looking for a dependable and professional independent contractor courier for one, or all, of the following: Routed Deliveries – Varying routes that normally have a set recurring schedule to them. Note: routes may change unexpectedly based on customer needs. STAT/On‑Demand – Pickups and rush orders dispatched from a route manager or customer. Backup/Standby – Last‑minute fill‑in for routes due to increase in daily volume. Services Sought For this contract, you will be picking up and delivering pharmacy medications and medical supplies. Coverage Sought Reliable independent contractors with availability to run orders throughout Kentucky and Indiana. The schedule details are as follows: Routed work – Monday‑Friday launching at 2 pm and 11 45 pm. Saturday and Sunday launching at 6 pm. On‑demand or backup routes – Sunday‑Saturday 12 am (midnight) – 8 am; Sunday‑Saturday 6 am – 11 am; Saturday and Sunday for 6+ hours on demand; Monday‑Friday 3 pm – 11 pm. Contractors with 4+ days or open availability will be given priority. Contractor Commissions Earned in one or more of the following ways: per mile, per route, per stop (plus variable fuel surcharge in some markets). Earned weekly through our third‑party pay administrator Openforce. Specific commission details to be discussed in the pre‑contracting process. Requirements for Contract Per insurance requirements, eligible contractors will be between 21 and 75 years of age. Attentive to detail. Live within 25 miles to zip code 40299. Own a reliable and registered car, SUV, or minivan that would be used for this contract (2011 or newer). Have and maintain state minimum requirements for bodily injury and property damage as primary auto insurance. At your choice: maintain your own qualifying workers' compensation insurance or enroll in the available Occupational Accident Insurance program for a weekly fee. Sign up with an EIN as a company or with a US Social Security Number as a sole proprietorship. Be able to complete contractor‑qualifying screenings and online delivery preparation modules. Have a clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations or at‑fault accidents in the last three years. Have an iPhone or Android smartphone to use for GPS order tracking and order scanning. Supply a cooler with reusable ice‑packs to transport temperature‑controlled specimens. Provide a dolly to transport products from vehicle to delivery destination. Willing to drive in inclement weather to service our customers. Adherence to customer required professional appearance standards: Solid white and/or light blue polo shirt. Solid colored pants (no athletic wear or sweatpants).
