As a Security Officer Full Time in   Pittsburgh, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will serve as a welcoming presence while helping to maintain a secure environment. You will greet visitors, manage access, monitor activity, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications office location.
• Manage the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify identification, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access logs in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems; report unusual activity and escalate concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Support a professional lobby environment by answering phones, coordinating with building management and/or onsite teams, and communicating relevant security-related information to Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
