Job Summary:

The Waters of Kingsport LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at The Waters of Kingsport Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation. We are seeking a results-driven individual to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facility, ensuring a safe and comfortable living space for our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the facility's physical structure, ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all equipment, fixtures, and appliances within the facility

• Develop and implement effective maintenance programs to prevent and resolve issues

• Recruit , train , and supervise a team of maintenance staff to ensure seamless operations

• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address safety concerns and facility needs

• Manage budgets and schedules to ensure efficient use of resources

• Maintain accurate records and reports of maintenance activities, repairs, and expenses

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in maintenance management, preferably in a healthcare setting

• Strong organizational and leadership skills , with the ability to motivate and direct a team

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills , with the ability to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals

• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures , with the ability to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all

• Ability to work varied shifts , including evenings, weekends, and holidays
