Based near Danville, Kentucky, our work includes multi-objective timber stand improvement, native plant community restoration, and providing technical assistance to forest landowners. WHAT YOU'LL DO Day-to-day work will vary by project demand and season. Hardwood Silviculture- Timber Stand Improvement Identify eastern U.S. tree and shrub species using botanical traits and silvics Recognize exotic and invasive plant species Execute shelterwood, group selection, and other management systems Conduct crop tree selection, thinning, and release treatments via herbicide injection, basal bark spraying, and mechanical methods Timber Cruising and Forest Inventories Navigate remote terrain using digital maps and GPS across varying topography Locate and tra... #J-18808-Ljbffr Arrowwood Consulting LLC
