CBRE Workplace Experience Receptionist

Location: 10801 Mastin Blv, Overland Park KS Pay Rate: $22.00/Hr on W2 Duration: 6 Months

This can be a part time role. This can be M-F 4-5 hrs/day x 5 days a week or longer days 3 days/week. Schedule will be fixed once selected. Need someone who can work later as one of the duties of this job is walking people to their vehicle when necessary.

Onsite Role - Interview: One virtual interview - Role is client facing and attire is business casual.

About the Role

As a CBRE Workplace Experience Receptionist, you will be responsible for delivering world-class customer service experience to employees and guests of a designated building. This job is part of the Workplace Experience function. They are responsible for providing world-class customer service to the clients and visitors of a designated building.

What You'll Do

• First point of contact for all those entering the facility. Greet them with a friendly and welcoming demeanor. Issue visitor and parking passes and follow security protocols. Escort visitors to the proper location.
• Approve janitorial or maintenance work orders as needed. Address issues with vendors or staff as needed.
• Resolve inquiries or complaints from employees, guests, and co-workers. Provide solutions in a professional customer service-driven manner.
• Oversee support for the team as directed including meeting coordination, and equipment care.
• Follow property-specific security and emergency procedures. Notify management to ensure the safety of all individuals in the building.
• Follow specific directions as given by the manager and work under minimal supervision.
• Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve the efficiency of the team.
• Evaluate and communicate unusual and/or complex content in a concise and logical way.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Work closely with multiple departments to ensure clients needs are met.
• Obtain identification and assign badging as needed.
• Ensure deliveries are received and shipped out in a timely manner.
• Multi task and pivot day to serve clients needs.
• Support facilities in moves and events.

What You'll Need

High School Diploma or GED with 3-4 years of job-related experience. A comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function is required. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Advanced organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. Needed soft skills: polite, organizational skills, communication skills, punctual. Need to have reliable transportation.
