Collection Technician

MEDIC Regional Blood Center is a community blood bank located in Knoxville, TN. We are the primary provider of blood and blood products for 25 hospitals in 23 counties throughout parts of East Tennessee and Southeastern Kentucky. If you’re from the area, you’ve likely seen our buses out and about in the community on our mobile blood drives. We are proud to also have other fixed collection sites in Farragut, Athens, and Crossville.This position is in our Mobile Collections department and is responsible for collecting blood in the communities we serve. For this position, you must have a flexible schedule and weekend availability. Shifts are generally 8 - 10 hours per day, and the shift start and stop times can vary between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. each day.
