Locum MD (Medical Doctor), DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Radiology

As a Locum Radiologist, your primary focus will be on interpreting diagnostic imaging and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Interpret and analyze various diagnostic imaging studies including X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans Collaborate with physicians to discuss and determine appropriate imaging techniques Provide accurate and timely reports on imaging results Assist in developing and implementing radiology protocols and procedures Educate patients about imaging processes and procedures Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings Stay updated on advancements in radiology technologies and practices Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols in a clinical setting Requirements Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree Board certification in Radiology or eligibility Valid medical license to practice in the state of Michigan Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Able to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems Experience in a clinical practice setting is preferred Schedule & Coverage Schedule: 7:00 a‑5:30 p, specific dates Overnight Call Setting: 60% outpatient, 40% inpatient Daily Volume: 9‑10 procedures, including OP and IP Case Types: General invasive interventional radiology Duties: Inpatient consults, outpatient clinic visits, biopsies, trauma coverage, scheduled and emergency procedures, and overseeing APPs Procedures: Performing biopsies, kyphoplasty, port placements, para/thora, etc Oversee APPs during the day Support Staff: MD/DOs and APPs EMR: Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel and expenses #J-18808-Ljbffr
