Virtual Instructor (Phlebotomy)

CGS is seeking dedicated and dynamic Virtual Instructors to join our instructional delivery services team. As a Virtual Instructor, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and interactive online learning experiences for a leading plasma donation organization. Your expertise in the subject matter, combined with your passion for education and technology, will help shape the future of plasma center technical training. Responsibilities Facilitatesynchronousandasynchronousvirtualinstruction,fosteringaninteractiveandengaginglearningenvironment. Utilizeavarietyofmultimediatools,platforms,andtechnologiesincludingmixedandextendedrealitytoenhancethelearningexperience. Tailoryourinstructionaldeliveryapproachtoaccommodatedifferentlearningstylesandabilitieswithinavirtualsetting. Provideclearexplanationsofcomplexconceptsandencouragelearnerparticipationandcriticalthinking. Facilitatediscussions,groupactivities,andprojectstopromotecollaborativelearningamonglearnersinvideo-streamedandvirtualrealityenvironments. Monitorandassesslearnerprogress,providingtimelyfeedbackandsupporttoaddressindividuallearningneeds. Maintainanonlinepresencethroughouttheinstructionalday,promptlyrespondingtolearnerinquiriesandconcernsviaemail,chat,andothercommunicationchannels. Staycurrentwithemergingtrendsandbestpracticesinvirtualinstructionandonlineeducation. Collaboratewithinstructionaldesigners,technologysupportteams,andfellowinstructorstocontinuouslyimprovethevirtuallearningexperience. Participateintrainingandprofessionaldevelopmentopportunitiestoenhanceteachingskillsandsubjectmatterexpertise. Upholdacademicintegrityandethicalstandardsinallinteractionsandassessments. Qualifications 3-5yearsofbloodbankingexperienceinadonororpatientfacingroleandpost-secondarytrainingorequivalentworkexperienceinthefollowingareasMedicalscreening. Phlebotomy. Plasmapheresisorautomatedcollectiondeviceoperationandinstrumentation. Handlingofadversedonorreactions. Samplespecimencollectionandprocessing. Experiencewithvirtualoronlinelearning,showcasinganunderstandingofhowtofosterengagingandeffectivelearningenvironments. Astrongcommandofvirtualclassroomtechnologies,videoconferencingtools,andmultimediaresources. Moderateproficiencyintheuseof: Learningmanagementsystems(LMS)todocumenttraining. MicrosoftExceltocollectstructureddatausedbyvariousinformationmanagementsystems. MSWord,MSPowerPoint,MSOneNote,andMSSharePoint. Excellentcommunicationskills,bothwrittenandverbal,withtheabilitytoconveycomplexideasclearlyandconcisely. Ademonstratedabilitytoadaptinstructionalstrategiesfordiverselearnersandcreateinclusivelearningexperiences. Apatient,approachable,andsupportiveattitudetowardlearners,promotingapositiveandcollaborativelearningatmosphere. Strongorganizationalskills,attentiontodetail,andtheabilitytomanagemultipletasksanddeadlines. Acontinuouslearnerwithagrowthmindset,opentoincorporatingnewteachingmethodologiesandtechnologies.
