How You'll Make An Impact In This Role

• Deliver compassionate bedside care to long-term care residents under the guidance of clinical leaders, ensuring dignity, comfort, and safety in their daily lives.
• Champion resident safety by proactively identifying environmental hazards or emerging emergency situations and swiftly taking corrective action to protect our community.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately while vigilantly monitoring residents for adverse reactions, directly safeguarding their health and recovery journeys.
• Contribute to comprehensive health assessments by gathering vital clinical data and performing routine tests, partnering with Registered Nurses to build precise, high-quality care plans.
• Empower patients and families through clear education on treatment plans, holistic health practices, and post-discharge self-care to ensure a seamless transition and lasting wellness.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
