Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnoses when necessary, utilizing tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders to develop personalized treatment plans that are mindful of cultural diversity and the unique needs of each patient. \n
- Continously evaluate patient progress by monitoring mental health symptoms and providing tailored interventions aimed at fostering recovery and enhancing quality of life. \n
- Prepare and maintain accurate treatment records and reports, leveraging current technology in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring all records are diligently kept up to date. \n
- Collaboratively work with patients and their families to craft comprehensive treatment plans that align treatment goals and patient preferences to achieve desired health outcomes. \n
- Anticipate safety concerns and develop strategies to mitigate risks, ensuring all patients feel secure in their treatment environments. \n
- Develop positive referral channels and act as a liaison for patients seeking additional services, building and nurturing relationships with other healthcare providers and referral agencies. \n
- Contribute to the training and development of future professionals by mentoring students, interns, and volunteers, sharing best practices in outpatient therapy. \n
- Participate in clinical collaboration with your peers, providing feedback and support on treatment strategies to enhance team competencies and patient care quality. \n
In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele across a wide range of mental health challenges. Our patient population includes children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues. The focus on outpatient therapy allows for flexible interventions tailored to each individual’s or family’s unique circumstances, enabling you to make a profound difference in their lives.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution along with a current license from the State Board of Social Work Licensure. \n
- Must hold a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation, fulfilling all requirements for clinical practice in the state of California. \n
- Adequate knowledge of the principles of human development and cultural competency necessary for effective patient care. \n
- Strong professional communication skills to engage effectively with diverse client populations and multidisciplinary teams. \n

- Previous clinical experience in a mental health care setting, preferably with at least 6 months to one year of practice. \n
- Experience with evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). \n
- Proficiency using electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation and record-keeping. \n
Pathway Counseling Clinic offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
