Details Work in the NICU, PICU, emergency department, and pediatric/adult acute and intermediate care wards at a children's hospital Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00-7:30) No call requirements Candidates may float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals per unit needs Epic EMR experience preferred Requirements Current RRT certification required BLS and NRP certifications required PALS certification preferred Minimum 2 years of PICU or NICU experience required Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred Epic charting experience required for consideration State license required if applicable COVID vaccination proof required with no exemptions accepted Two manager or supervisor references from within the last 24 months required (charge RN references not accepted) Additional Information Provide therapeutic interventions including airway management, ventilator management, newborn resuscitation, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation Perform diagnostic procedures including arterial blood sampling, bedside spirometry, and point-of-care testing Deliver age‑specific care in alignment with the hospital's Family Centered Care Program Assist and train other respiratory therapists, students, and healthcare team members Experience with ECMO, high frequency jet/oscillating ventilators, and neonatal/pediatric airway management preferred Chart and charge for all services provided per policy First‑time travelers may be considered for this position Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no radius restriction RTO must be submitted upfront and limited to no more than 2 weeks Previous OHSU employees or travelers must be gone a minimum of 6 months before returning as a traveler American Traveler Job ID #P-755776.
