Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Pharmacy Technician – Athens, Ohio
An opportunity is available for Pharmacy Technicians with at least 2 years of experience who want to advance their skills in sterile IV compounding. This position offers full-time, contract-to-hire employment with comprehensive training, making it ideal for motivated individuals eager to expand their pharmacy expertise in a mail-order compounding pharmacy setting.
Location: Athens, Ohio
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists with prescription processing, data entry, and order fulfillment
- Participate in hands-on training for non-sterile and sterile compounding, including IV preparation
- Accurately fill, label, and package prescriptions for mail distribution
- Ensure compliance with USP standards and pharmacy regulations
- Support inventory management and maintain an organized workspace
- Assist with shipping processes and workflow coordination
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Pharmacy Technician experience
- Active Pharmacy Technician license if required by state regulations
- No prior compounding experience necessary; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn new skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
