Purchasing Buyer - On Site Greensburg

Job Title

This role is responsible for researching product requirements sourcing vendors and working with vendors to obtain highest quality products at competitive prices through bid process.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results.
• Responsible for negotiating with vendors to find quality products at competitive prices and adequate delivery time.
• Coordinates the purchase order and bid solicitation process.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory of the warehouse.
• Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills to Help You Succeed:

• General Buying experience is preferred.
• Experience using Stratton Warren System is preferred.
• Broad variety of tasks and deadlines requires an irregular work schedule.
• Ability to perform assigned duties in an interruptive environment.
• Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• Zero (0) to three (3) years of experience in purchasing related positions.
• A two (2) year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA storage regulations and hazard chemical labeling and other applicable OSHA requirements.
• Knowledge of gaming and alcohol beverage control laws and regulations.
• You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such an environment.
• Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live's operating standards.
