Hybrid work environment with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.Job DescriptionApplications Engineer OverviewThe Applications Engineer role focuses on engineering and automation within credit portfolio management platforms.Collaborate with teams to develop solutions for credit instrument workflows and data validation.Leverage technical expertise in Wall Street Office (WSO) and credit instruments to enhance operational efficiency.Contribute to the development of automated interfaces and exception-reporting tools.Support system upgrades, patches, and migrations with regression testing.Document workflows, interface designs, and operational procedures for credit instruments.Provide technical and functional support to end-users of credit platforms.Opportunity to work in a hybrid environment combining onsite and remote work.Applications Engineer Key Responsibilities & DutiesDevelop and maintain automated interfaces using APIs and file-based feeds.Create tools for data validation and exception reporting to ensure data accuracy.Collaborate with portfolio management and operations teams to define technical requirements.Assist in the regression testing of credit instrument workflows during system upgrades.Document conventions for instrument setup and operational runbooks.Support WSO end-users with technical and functional assistance.Partner with data engineering teams to integrate instrument data into reporting layers.Ensure compliance with structured release management and CI/CD pipelines.Applications Engineer Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or related field.1-3 years of experience with credit portfolio management platforms.Proficiency in SQL and SQL Server development.Experience with Python or C# for automation and interface development.Knowledge of credit instruments such as syndicated loans and structured credit.Familiarity with API-based and file-based system integration.Understanding of credit portfolio reporting requirements and compliance tests.Preferred experience with WSO and other credit platforms like Allvue Everest or Solvas.
