Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in managing cardiac drips and be familiar with telemetry and potential rapid response situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a PCU setting.
• Manage and monitor patients receiving cardiac drips.
• Administer medications and perform assessments as required.
• Participate in rapid response and code blue situations.
• Document patient care and progress using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in PCU, with ICU experience preferred.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of submission.
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start.
• Epic experience is mandatory, with a competency level of 3 or 4.
• All candidates must be nicotine-free and able to pass a negative 10 Panel + Nicotine drug screen.
