WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The Media Specialist is responsible for creating and delivering high-quality visual content, including photo, video, and graphic assets, that support the company’s brand, communications, and strategic initiatives. This role focuses on hands-on production and design, ensuring consistent and professional visual representation across digital, social, web, internal, and marketing platforms.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

• Capture, produce, and edit photo and video content for digital, social, web, and internal use
• Design and produce graphic assets, including social media graphics, presentation visuals, marketing materials, and branded templates
• Edit and format content to align with brand standards and messaging
• Support campaigns, announcements, and ongoing communications with integrated media assets
• Provide on-site photos, video, and media support for events, job sites, and community engagements
• Collaborate with communications and marketing teams to translate messaging into clear, compelling visual content
• Support select travel to conferences and trade shows, serving as the lead for podcast setup, booth preparation, and on-site technical readiness

REQUIRED SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
• Video editing experience using Adobe Premiere Pro and/or After Effects
• Experience creating graphics and layouts for digital and print formats
• Familiarity with content optimization for social media platforms
• Working knowledge of camera equipment, lighting, and audio fundamentals
• Strong attention to detail, visual consistency, and brand alignment

WHAT WILL HELP YOU STAND OUT

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in a Junior Designer or Designer role is preferred.
• Prior experience working with relevant design software is required.
• Must be very detailed oriented and able to focus on projects in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong understanding of color theory is preferred.
• Proven ability to create unique, custom designs aligning with business initiatives is required.
• At least 2+ prior years’ experience designing custom graphics is required.
• Proven ability to adapt to change and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment is required.
• Ability to meet deadlines and communicate project progress effectively is required.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Office and vehicle environments will be standard practice.
• May be required to stand, sit, bend, twist, and reach as part of the job.
• Extended periods of standing on your feet may be required.
• Lengthy visits to the field and project site to support the sales/marketing and operations functions will be required.
• May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, or other job-related pre-hire screenings related to the job.
• It is estimated 50% of this work will include custom graphic designs, 30% of this work will consist of video work and editing, and 20% of the work will consist of photography.
• This position will require travel via plane or automobile up to 25% of the time.
