About the Position

Job Title: Electrophysiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Electrophysiology Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 Years Required License: Valid State License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience with diagnostic cardiac catheterization - Experience with interventional cardiology - Experience with electrophysiology Description: EP Tech Assignment Length: 13 weeks. Start Date: ASAP. Shift: 4x10 days. First timers accepted. Guaranteed hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks. Traveler can be called off for one, 10-hour shift per 2 weeks. Some Saturdays are required as part of regular shifts. Call is required, typically from 6-8 PM if necessary. Mostly no late stays are required, as cases are generally finished by the end of the shift. May float to similar units if needed. Candidates must be 50 miles away from the facility. Reference checks covering previous experience are mandatory. Two references required from the last three years, covering at least one year. Skills Required: Proficient in accurate monitoring and hemodynamic monitoring. Capable of performing catheter exchanges and various cardiac procedures. Experience with electrophysiology lab procedures and equipment setup. Knowledge of rhythm interpretation and cardiac ablation is preferred. Familiarity with various interventional devices used in cardiac procedures. Unit Information: Staffing and scheduling information will be communicated prior to onboarding. Expected to contribute to the support of a busy electrophysiology lab with complex procedures. Must commit to working three of the five major holidays. All time off requests must be included during the submission process. Additional specifications may apply based on unit needs.
