Description:
The Staff Accountant is responsible for day-to-day accounting activities.
The Staff Accountant collaborates effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
The role promotes values, team culture, and mission.
Responsibilities include coordinating with external claims processors to ensure timely and accurate payment of medical expenses.
Invoices received must be appropriately routed or coded and paid for.
Regular reconciliation of monthly payments from governments against member eligibility is required.
Collaboration with the enrollment function ensures appropriate patient enrollment in programs.
Verification of compliance for Team Member expense reports is necessary.
Draft financial reports for submission to government agencies quarterly.
Support the annual budgeting process and monthly budget reviews.
Willingness to work a varied schedule including evenings and weekends is required.
Timely and accurate completion of all required documentation is essential.
Privacy and confidentiality of company procedures and information must be protected.
Adherence to policies and participation in quality improvement activities is expected.
Regular communication with the supervisor regarding workload and priorities is necessary.
Timely completion of mandated trainings and education is required.
Flexibility in performing assignments as business needs evolve is important.
