About the Opportunity

Are you an accounting professional looking to expand your skill set, take on new responsibilities, and grow your career? We’re seeking an Accounting Specialist with at least 1–3 years of experience to join a collaborative, small-office team where you can make an impact across multiple areas of accounting and operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundation in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable who wants to build on their experience, gain exposure to month-end close and general ledger activities, and develop toward a future Staff Accountant-level role.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable activities, including invoice processing, exception monitoring, and reviewing invoices against purchase orders and packing slips for accuracy.
• Support Accounts Receivable functions, including customer billing, cash applications, and account follow-up.
• Assist with payroll processing by reviewing employee hours and entering payroll information accurately.
• Contribute to month-end close activities, including account reconciliations, general ledger support, and other routine accounting functions.
• Communicate with customers and vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and address AP/AR questions.

Required Qualifications

• Approximately 1–3+ years of accounting experience, ideally with hands-on exposure to both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Experience using an ERP or accounting system; familiarity with cloud-based platforms or automated workflows is preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, and basic data analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
