Salary:

This position is with Camp Carew, 303 Hidden Bay Ln, Makanda, IL 62958 and is a part time position.

• Camp Carew Nurses are responsible for the care and supervision of all medical services for the summer camps.
• Looking after ill or injured campers or staff, administering medication, communication with parents and counselors, organization of medical information, medications and first aid kits, as well as keeping records of camper visits.
• Camps will be staffed 24 hours of the day from check-in time on Sunday until check out time for campers and staff.
• The Camp Nurse reports to the Camp Director.
• Starting pay $20. Housing and meals are provided.
• Applicants must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.
• Must have current CPR and First Aid Certifications.
• Must have experience working with children and youth.
• Responsibilities include assisting in organizing and setting up the Camp Health Office.
• Others duties as assigned.
