Overview American Traveler is hiring a seasoned travel RN Case Manager for an acute care hospital Case Management unit in California, requiring 2 years of acute care case management experience and an active CA RN license. Requirements Active CA RN license required; pending license accepted if active by start date Minimum 2 years of acute care Case Management and/or Discharge Planning experience required; behavioral health experience does not qualify Hospital (acute care) experience required BLS certification required Proficiency with Epic EMR required At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Responsibilities Acute care hospital setting, Case Management unit Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30) Patient ratios: 1:25 on weekdays, 1:45 on weekends Every other weekend required to meet department needs No floating within the unit; however, travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state Epic EMR required First-time travelers will not be considered; seasoned travelers only RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the assignment Former permanent employees of the facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Business attire or scrubs are acceptable dress code Refusal to float between facilities within the state may result in assignment termination Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll DepositFree Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-718444 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
