Quality Inspector - 2nd Shift

Location: North Hollywood, CA, United States Company: Avibank Division: EPD Position Type: Full Time, On-Site Job Description As a Quality Inspector, you will demonstrate extensive knowledge of Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing (GD&T) methods per ASME 14.5 and expert level blueprint reading and manufacturing/inspection related math skills. You will serve as SME for mechanical, assembly or CMM inspection. These inspectors read and interpret results of inspections to determine product conformance and will have enough knowledge of manufacturing processes to provide detailed feedback on ways to improve product quality. They work independently and can escape issues as needed. They also demonstrate advanced knowledge in AS9102 reporting, including the ability to create reports independently. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Utilize internal/external documents to validate that products meet requirements as indicated on blueprints or job travelers. Perform first final inspection to validate conformance of the final product and readiness to ship to the customer. Utilize Coordinate Measuring Machine to validate GD&T requirements. Review and approve AS9102 forms and other validation documentation. Required Experience Minimum of 5+ years experience in industry or related field. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure. Basic computer knowledge including MS Office. Education and/or Experience High school diploma/GED equivalent or appropriate years of on-the-job experience required. Benefits & Compensation Pay range: $26.00 to $33.00 USD hourly. Eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan with 1X the Company's bonus multiple. 80 hours paid time off annually, 10 paid holidays.
