This vital role focuses on preparing nutritious meals that support the health and well-being of our students, contributing to their overall development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook healthy meals and snacks for preschool children, ensuring compliance with dietary guidelines and nutritional standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations.
• Collaborate with staff to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences of children.
• Manage inventory and order supplies as necessary to keep the kitchen well-stocked.
• Assist in planning menus that promote healthy eating habits among young children.
• Ensure proper food storage and handling procedures are followed to maintain food safety.
• Willing and able to drive the school van.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in a cooking or food preparation role, preferably in a childcare or educational setting.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a preschool or similar environment.
• A commitment to stability and long-term employment.

The work environment is dynamic and engaging, centered around the needs of young children. The Preschool Cook will work in a kitchen setting that prioritizes health and safety while fostering a collaborative atmosphere with staff and educators to create a positive experience for all students.

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
