Wash Bay Attendant

Riley Industrial Services, Inc.

Riley Industrial Services is currently hiring a Wash Bay Attendant. As a wash bay attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining vehicles to ensure they meet cleanliness standards.

Primary Responsibilities

Vehicle Cleaning : Thoroughly wash, dry, and detail cars, trucks, and other vehicles using appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions.
Equipment Operation : Operate wash bay machinery, including power sprayers and hand brushes, to clean the exterior and interior of vehicles.
Maintenance : Regularly check and maintain wash bay equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition. This includes cleaning tools and replenishing cleaning supplies.
Safety Compliance : Follow all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Record Keeping : Complete wash bay logs and conduct daily inspections of vehicles, reporting any faults to management.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Attention to Detail : Must have a keen eye for detail to ensure vehicles are cleaned to high standards.
Physical Stamina : Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds), and perform physical tasks such as bending and kneeling.
Teamwork : Ability to work independently or as part of a team, coordinating with other staff members for efficient workflow.

This is tough work - expect dirt, sweat, and long hours.
Valid driver's license required (No state IDs, interlocks, or restricted licenses).
Drug-free workplace - must pass a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana).
Physical strength required - heavy lifting and demanding tasks are needed daily.
All-weather readiness - you'll work in heat, cold, rain, snow, and everything in between.
