Job Summary:

The SAP MM Consultant designs, implements, configures, and supports the SAP Materials Management module to optimize procurement, inventory control, and material valuation processes. This role bridges business supply chain requirements and technical SAP solutions, ensuring seamless integration across related SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure SAP MM functionalities including Material Master Data, Business Partner/Vendor Master, Purchasing Info Records, and Source Lists.
• Set up end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workflows, Purchase Requisitions (PR), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), Purchase Orders (PO), and Goods Receipts (GR).
• Manage inventory configuration, movement types, physical inventory processes, valuation, and batch management.
• Design pricing procedures, release strategies, automatic account determination, and invoice verification (LIV).

Business Process Analysis & Design:

• Lead requirement-gathering workshops and translate business supply chain needs into Functional Specification Documents (FSD).
• Map special procurement scenarios, including Stock Transport Orders (STO), Subcontracting, Consignment, and Third-Party procurement.
• Identify system gaps and design custom enhancements with ABAP developers.

Integration & Cross-Module Alignment:

• Ensure seamless cross-module integration between MM and Financial Accounting/Controlling (FI/CO), Sales and Distribution (SD), Production Planning (PP), and Warehouse Management (WM/EWM).

Testing, Support & Training:

• Plan and execute Unit Testing, Integration Testing (UAT), and cutover activities.
• Provide Tier-2/Tier-3 application support, root-cause incident resolution, and post-go-live hypercare.
• Deliver end-user documentation and training programs for supply chain stakeholders.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 3 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM implementation, configuration, and support.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA (including SAP Fiori apps for procurement and inventory) as well as legacy SAP ECC.

Technical & Functional Expertise:

• Deep knowledge of supply chain management, purchasing cycles, physical inventory, and logistics execution.
• Strong familiarity with SAP tables, data migration tools (LSMW, LTMC), and output determination.
• SAP MM Certification or SAP S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement Certification is a strong plus.
