Telehealth School-Based Speech Therapy | Louisiana

Opportunities are available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide both in-person and virtual services within a school setting in Natchitoches, LA. Positions offer a mix of full-time and part-time engagements with options for contract-to-hire arrangements. Services support reasonable caseloads, with paraprofessional assistance provided, typically focused in a single building to ensure continuity and effectiveness.


Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred for SLPs
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcomed
• Experience or interest in teletherapy and telespeech services
• Background working in school environments beneficial
• Ability to manage caseloads efficiently with paraprofessional collaboration

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language pathology evaluation, intervention, and progress monitoring tailored to student needs
• Provide both virtual and in-person therapy sessions based on scheduling and student requirements
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop individualized educational plans (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate documentation, session notes, and compliance with regulatory standards
• Adapt therapy approaches to accommodate diverse learning environments and technologies
