The BuyerIis responsible for securing third-party rentals, sourcing,andprocuringallmaterials, bulks, tools, consumables, safety suppliesand other miscellaneous items as required to support Operations. Essential Functions Represent the Company at all timeswith high moral standards while adhering to the Company’s “Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.” Actively support the Company’s commitment to safety and its “Core Values.” Processsubmittedrequisitions from the jobsites to supply third-party rental equipment, materials,and supplies at a reasonable cost and by the date required. Ensure use of framework agreements and preferred supplier agreements. Coordinate with fieldoperations to assure appropriatefield receiving and material management timing and requirements. Interface betweensuppliers and various internal departments to resolve issues, invoice problems, material specification questions, variances, etc., as required. Identify new vendors that can provide the most cost-efficient, timely, and quality products possible; maintain relationship with current vendors. Negotiate pricing with new vendors. Maximize savingsin all aspects of purchasing Research invoices that were rejected by Accounts Payableand assist withprocessinginvoices. Perform other duties as required or assigned. Qualifications Entry level position;0 -2 years ofrelated experience. Exposure topurchasing-related activitiesin the construction industrywould be considered a plus. Ability to work well with and support internal customers, and lead team members Computer skills include some use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, theInternetand Penta. Strong communication and negotiation skills are necessary. Occasional overtime and willingness to travel as needed/required.
