Floating Required: Yes. PICU or NICU first; may go to Peds M/S Onc floor

Weekend Coverage Required: 4 weekend shifts/mo; some holidays required (in mix with regular staff)

Certifications Required: ACLS, BCLS, and PALS

Special Procedures/Unit Details: Highly variable patient population. Mostly surgical and large majority will be babies. Acuity varies as well ECMO - have technicians that run the pumps Nitric Oxide, pacemakers, Chest tubes, invasive monitors Bedside procedures (chest tube placement, cardioversions, etc) No floating to ED or Mental Health

Special Equipment: Chest tube management CVPs, art lines, Pacemakers Defibrillators Vents
