- Design and plan fiber optic networks and oversee construction activities.
- Apply knowledge of telecommunications, data networking, and wireless systems.
- Utilize advanced computer applications including Word, Excel, Visio, ArcGIS/ESRI, 3GIS, and Google Earth.
- Ensure quality control over construction and adherence to local practices.
- Manage engineering systems and databases effectively.
- Coordinate with vendors and permitting agencies to ensure timely approvals.
- Conduct site surveys, pre-construction meetings, and field inspections.
- Understand and apply right-of-way and property rights regulations.
- Strong knowledge of Outside Plant (OSP) Engineering .
- Experience managing vendor relationships and contracts .
- Proficiency in GIS and drafting tools .
- Solid project management capabilities.
- Expertise in 3GIS .
- Experience with construction drawings and as-built documentation .
- Familiarity with permit management processes .
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years in a related field).
