Brake Press Operator - Now Hiring
$19 per hourAre you a hands-on expert in tooling and setup? We are seeking dedicated brake press operators / metal benders who can quickly transition between jobs and ensure maximum machine uptime. This fast-paced role focuses on efficient setup and operation to meet high production quotas. - Efficiently select, install, and adjust tooling (dies and punches) in the press brake based on material thickness, bend angle, and desired form.
- Perform quick and accurate machine setups and changeovers between different production runs.
- Operate the brake press to form sheet metal components and parts according to job specifications and work orders.
- Monitor machine operation, troubleshoot potential forming errors (e.g., warping, cracking, or incorrect angles), and make necessary adjustments to the program or setup.
- Minimize material scrap by carefully managing material handling and operating the machine accurately from the first bend. location: Chuckey, TN
