Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a D365 SCM professional with strong functional supply chain expertise and practical technical troubleshooting skills . The individual should be comfortable working onsite with business users, functional consultants, technical teams, and implementation partners.

The successful candidate will be able to understand business processes, investigate technical issues, work effectively with Azure DevOps, and help resolve system and integration challenges without being solely focused on full-scale development.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced D365 SCM Techno-Functional Consultant to provide onsite support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (D365 SCM). This role requires a strong combination of functional supply chain knowledge and hands-on technical troubleshooting capabilities.

The consultant will support the D365 environment throughout testing, training, and go-live activities. Responsibilities include issue triage, data validation, integration troubleshooting, Azure DevOps task management, and minor technical customizations or configuration adjustments.

This position is not focused on full-scale software development. Instead, the consultant will serve as a bridge between functional teams, technical teams, business stakeholders, and the implementation partner to identify and resolve technical blockers and ensure smooth project delivery.

Required

• 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) and/or AX .
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management (SCM) business processes and functionality.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a techno-functional capacity, combining functional expertise with technical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience troubleshooting functional configurations, technical work items, data flows, and system integrations.
• Working knowledge of D365 SCM modules, X++ concepts, data entities, integrations, and environment management .
• Experience using Azure DevOps for backlog, defect, task, or work-item management.
• Ability to analyze technical issues, identify dependencies, and work effectively with developers, functional consultants, and implementation partners.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Experience specifically supporting D365 SCM implementations or production environments .
• Experience with D365 data management, data entities, and integration troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with D365 environment administration and oversight.
• Experience working with manufacturing, warehousing, plant operations, or supply chain systems.
• Previous experience supporting manufacturing or warehouse implementations using D365 F&O/SCM or comparable ERP platforms.
• Familiarity with scanning solutions, plant execution systems, legacy-system integrations, and other supply chain technologies.
