Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Onsite | Business hour shifts with call coverage required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide sedation monitoring for patients undergoing cardiac cath lab procedures including STEMI, TAVR, EVAR, interventional and diagnostic catheterizations, and cardio mams
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio across a 2-suite lab performing 4–14 cases per day
• Collaborate with cath lab techs who perform scrubbing and hemodynamic monitoring
• Start IVs independently as part of nursing responsibilities
• Participate in call coverage twice a month on weekends and rotate holiday coverage with permanent staff
• Complete conscious sedation testing as required per unit protocol

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP setting
• Ability to perform conscious sedation monitoring and complete required conscious sedation testing
• Willingness and availability to take call twice a month on weekends and rotate holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with STEMI, TAVR, EVAR, and interventional/diagnostic cath procedures
• Familiarity working alongside cath lab techs in a collaborative, multi-role environment
• Experience in a high-volume cath lab setting
