Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Job Type: Full-Time. Eligible for Tool Reimbursement Program . Job Summary Looking for a multi-versed mechanic who enjoys working on multiple makes and models of heavy equipment. There is something new every day. In this position you will have the opportunity to repair equipment in our shop as well as travel to different quarry locations. Job Duties Making repairs to heavy construction equipment as well as our fleet of trucks Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues Ability to learn to operate all types of construction equipment General welding and fabrication skills a plus Job Requirements Understanding of basic mechanics and working knowledge of large equipment Must be 18 years of age or olderBasic computer skills Ability to get CDL- Class A (Wendling will help you get it) Hours Monday - Friday. On average works 50 to 55 (overtime available) hour weeks depending on the season.
