Role And Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units. Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units. Assess patient conditions, monitor cardiac telemetry, administer medications, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans. Explain procedures to patients and families, prepare patients for diagnostics, and assist physicians during treatments. Maintain a safe, clean environment, document patient information accurately, and ensure infection control practices. Coordinate discharge plans and advocate for patient needs, while managing multiple patients efficiently based on acuity. Adhere to safety protocols, regulatory standards, and perform other duties within scope of practice.
