About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Vice President for Business Development and Strategy to lead its commercial growth across various retail channels. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing national sales and business development strategies, with a focus on new business, strategic accounts, and distribution expansion. This role requires a leader with a proven track record in driving profitable growth, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding the company's retail footprint. Key responsibilities include sales strategy, commercial leadership, new business development, broker and distributor management, and revenue growth. The EVP will also be expected to provide cross-functional leadership, build and lead a high-performing commercial organization, and foster a culture of innovation and performance. Applicants for the EVP position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, with an MBA preferred, and at least 10 years of progressive commercial, sales, or business development leadership experience within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector. The role demands a candidate with strong financial acumen, significant experience in national retail channels, and a proven ability to build executive customer relationships. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, entrepreneurial leader with excellent presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills, and a demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Leadership competencies such as commercial and financial leadership, strategic and analytical thinking, customer and growth orientation, and a drive for talent development are essential for this position.
