Material Handler
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support warehouse and shipping operations. This role is responsible for order fulfillment, shipping preparation, inventory handling, and material movement while maintaining accuracy, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Create shipments and manifests to ensure timely and accurate order processing
- Pick, pack, and prepare domestic and international shipments
- Prepare shipments for trade shows and special events
- Pack hazardous materials in accordance with shipping requirements
- Receive and process finished goods
- Operate material handling equipment safely
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience
Skills
- Experience operating forklifts, stock pickers, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and step ladders
- Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing demands
- Willingness to work overtime during peak periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
