Respiratory Therapist ( RCP )

Job description: We are currently seeking qualified Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCPs) to provide temporary or relief coverage at Correctional Facilities throughout California. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to deliver quality respiratory care in a unique, secure, and well-organized healthcare environment. Responsibilities: Provide respiratory care services in alignment with accepted standards and facility policies Set up, operate, and instruct patients in the use of respiratory equipment Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and consultations as requested Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment Support the development and updates of respiratory therapy protocols and procedures Evaluate and recommend respiratory care equipment and supply needs Participate in training, quality improvement initiatives, and special projects as needed Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 12 months of recent experience (within the last 3 years) providing similar services in a public or private healthcare setting Valid and active license to practice respiratory care in California issued by the Respiratory Care Board Credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Graduate of a CoARC-accredited respiratory therapy program or its predecessor (Joint Review Committee for Respiratory Therapy Education) In compliance with 8 CCR 5199 standards, including: Current N95 and/or PAPR medical clearance Completion of annual respiratory protection training and Appendix G questionnaire Must be proficient in English, with the ability to speak, understand, read, and write effectively Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $45 - $48 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
