Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients in an acute care setting
• Develop individualized treatment plans to restore function and reduce pain
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home care
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment following infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Maryland (or compact eligible)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Physical Therapist preferred
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Strong clinical reasoning and patient assessment skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be comfortable with floating to other units if needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in orthopedic, neurological, and medical/surgical rehabilitation
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a diverse patient caseload
• Knowledge of evidence-based practice and treatment modalities
