Acute Home Healthcare is looking for Home Health Occupational Therapist (OT) throughout Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties to join our team!

Qualifications of Home Health Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Currently licensed in the state(s) in which practicing
- At least 2 year or more of experience in home care
- Level 2 Background screening
Responsibilities and Duties of Home Health Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Improves or minimizes residual physical disabilities of the patient.
- Returns the individual to optimum and productive living within the patient's capabilities.
- Periodically participates with all other health care personnel in patient care planning.
- Provides prescribed occupational therapy.
- Takes initial history and makes initial evaluation.
- Consults with physicians regarding change in treatment.
- Writes reports to physicians regarding patient's progress.
- Instructs patients/family members in home programs and fine motor movement exercises.
- Assists the physician in evaluating level of function.
- Helps develop the plan of care and revises as necessary.
- Prepares clinical and progress notes.
- Advices and consults with the family and other Agency personnel.
- Participates in Inservice programs.
