Team Leader - C Shift

Responsibilities Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Excellent leadership & interpersonal skills. Strong communication skills and conflict resolution. Demonstrate the ability to learn team building skills. Computer experience (Microsoft) and production floor data entry and retrieval systems. Language Skills: Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English. Mathematical Skills: Must have more extensive math skills (add, subtract, multiply & divide). Must be able to read a tape measure or rule in both standard & metric. Reasoning Ability Problem solving ability. Understanding the use of Trouble Shooting Guides in resolving defects. Understanding the cost of production on the respective lines, including cost saving ideas and implementation. Knowledge of required paperwork, including factory orders, daily production sheets, and customer required paperwork (Cognex data, defect data, etc.) Responsiblities Make and handle product. Support plant safety programs. Assist in acquiring support as needed. Recognizes and rewards positive performance. Communicates and coordinates with other teams. Support team members as needed. Attends daily operation meeting. Identifies training needed within the team. Provides training in specific areas and documents training covered. Physical Demands: 12-hour work day. Nights and weekends Requires standing, walking, kneeling, bending and reaching. Requires pushing and pulling rolls, carts and hoists. Requires lifting up to 55 pounds.
