Registered Nurse (RN)The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for utilizing the nursing process to provide safe, age-appropriate, direct and indirect patient care, while practicing within the scope of practice of the Oregon State Board of Nursing.Ambulatory Surgery provides pre, intra and post op care to surgical and procedural sedation patients. We provide service for the patient population of pediatrics, adolescents, adult and elderly patients. We work with a variety of provider specialties in caring for people going home that day or are being admitted to the hospital.Experience/Education/QualificationsCurrent unencumbered Oregon RN license required.Healthcare Provider Level BLS required upon hire.PCH Surgery Ambulatory:ACLS required within 90 days of hire.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesSocial Perceptiveness: Ability to work with a diverse population from pediatrics to geriatrics. Basic understanding of age-related differences in caring for and/or communicating with patients and caregivers.
